Locally grown specialty cut flowers

Find out why local flowers matter

Welcome to Red Door Farm where we offer specialty cut flowers to the public and florists using organic no-till methods. We do not use any pesticides on the farm, we sell what we grow, and we disturb the soil as little as possible. We grow from the ground up!

In theory Red Door Farm started over 30 years ago through my passion, rather obsession as my husband says, of gardening. One can never have too many plants! But, it wasn’t until I installed a whimsical red door, a sign he made for me out of a plank that came out of our 100+ year old home and planted our first bed of annuals for cut flowers that Red Door Farm was born.

What first started as 1 50’ bed no tiller or tractor, is now over 15 beds of annuals and supporting landscape of perennials & grasses on a 1/2 acre.

The cut flower industry is 80% imported from foreign countries with little to no pesticide controls and this is why Red Door Farm is passionate about being your local flower farm. We take pride in how we grow our flowers and never stop educating ourselves on organic no-till methods.

Peggy and Bryan

The team that makes the dream work!

We have always been avid gardeners and both have a love of all things nature. As the sole proprietor, I (Peggy) am the principal grower and stem cutter. Bryan is the behind the scenes guy. Bed prep, irrigation installer, fixer of all things and occasionally cutting flowers under my watchful eye! He is the best farm hand a gal could ask for.

In addition to our farm, Bryan works full time off farm and we both are Firefighter/EMTs with Stratham Volunteer Fire Department.

Brandon

The Blind Egg Farmer

Brandon is our son/step-son who is visually impaired and autistic. He is responsible for all things chickens and eggs. Brandon started keeping chickens back in 2018. We wanted to provide him a purpose. Finding employment for those with disabilities is incredibly difficult, therefore, we have created an environment where Brandon can focus on being independent and have a purpose in a safe and loving environment.
